Medical Records Summaries and Reviews |
Medical Record Summaries and Abstractions are prepared by medically trained (doctors, nurses, physical therapists, pharmacists, etc.) staff. We currently have a staff of over 50 who exclusively review medical records. The summaries and abstractions are used by physicians who want to save time organizing medical records they need to review; by insurance companies who want concise medical summaries of claims in order to set reserves and as a guide to settlement; and by attorneys who want a clear description of medical services provided to a client.
Our clients determine the extent of detail they want provided in the summaries. The summaries include: hospital admissions and discharges; results of diagnostic testing; examination findings; opinions of medical experts relating to causation, disability and apportionment; and deposition testimony of the patient.
Medical records are provided to us in their original condition and we can scan them and upload them to our facility or they can be sent directly to us in an electronic format. Our usual turnaround time is generally less than ten working days.
