California, USA, January 15, 2016 – eData Services is honored with the re-election of its CEO, Fred Kumetz, to the Health Information Management Association of the Philippines (HIMAP) Board of Trustees.

Mr. Kumetz has been instrumental in the success of HIMAP since eData’s inception in 2000 by breaking down limitations and barriers to entry faced by medical transcription companies in the Philippines.  He further promoted the transcription industry in the Philippines when, in 2003, Mr. Kumetz joined eight (8) other medical transcription companies to form the Medical Transcription Industry Association of the Philippines (MTIAPI), the predecessor of HIMAP. Being one of the nine incorporators of MTIAPI, Mr. Kumetz opened eData’s resources to MTIAPI by providing manpower, IT, technical support, and financial assistance.
